Another fantastic start to the day, a couple of guys out on 9m bows when we arrived, so no option but to go out on the 12m OR1. Hanging on for grim death for the first 1/2 or so as some massive gusts came through. What I like about this kite is that even when fully depowered it still feels really stable and turns quickly.

Tried some jumps and toeside transitions - before near disaster! Don't know quite how it happened but I ditched the kite, and managed to get the lines wrapped around my feet and the board - oooer. Next thing the kite relaunched and went looping madly down the lagoon, with me reg-dolling behind attached by my ankles and feet - have to say I thought I was getting them amputated. A well-gnarly moment, could have been well serious. But - managed to get one, then the other out, and although I have some deep cuts - feet still attached to legs!!

Stayed out for another hour, and glad too - cos I nailed my first backloop!!!! Well chuffed! even though I followed it up by several failures - highlight of the week!
